Fit4Nuclear is a unique service to help UK manufacturing companies get ready to work in the nuclear supply chain.
Developed by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (NAMRC) with the support of its top tier partners, including nuclear new build and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, nuclear industry leaders are now using Fit4Nuclear to identify potential companies for their own supply chains for both civil nuclear and marine/defence nuclear projects.
Hydrobolt has be granted Fit4Nuclear status since 2014.

Since being granted Fit4Nuclear status, Hydrobolt has become an integral member of the MOD’s supply chain for their nuclear projects, working in partnerships primarily with the MOD’s tier 1 & 2 contractors. Hydrobolt is GS3001 approved for manufacturing special fasteners and thread rolling.
JOSCAR (the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is a collaborative tool used by the defence and security industries to act as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information of the supply chain. Using JOSCAR helps determine whether or not a supplier is “fit for business”.
Hydrobolt has been JOSCAR registered since 2016.
